Stormie Omartian's The Power of a Praying Wife - I read this book with two of my closest friends last winter - we actually set it up as an email study - with 9 children between the 3 of us, this was the best way to get together and talk! This book taught me a lot - and I think it even helped T, lol! Seriously, the biggest thing I took away from this book was to quit nagging and just start praying. Rather than nag about something I don't like, I take it to the Lord in prayer and allow Him to do the work that needs to be done.I think this is an excellent book and I'd like to bless someone with. If you've never read any of her books, I would like to encourage you to. I've just started The Power of a Praying Parent.

I have read Stormie's book and it's wonderful. I never have a copy far from my nightstand. I have read several of her books and have found her to be a huge blessing in my life. When I went through an extremely hard time in my life it was with the Word and her book, "Just Enough Light for the Step I'm On" that I made it through to the other side of pain and anxiety.
I will be very excited to see who wins this wonderful gift. This book is life changing, Leigh Ann. Of course I do not need to enter, but hope and pray it ends up in the hands of someone who really will be blessed by it!
I will definitely vote- and thanks for all the fun contests lately.

Diana - I thought it was pretty accurate for me in some areas- it asked enough questions, so I guess it should have been.
Some of them were definately "off" - although my hubby would agree that I'm anything but spontaneous!

I get such a kick out of reading your blog! I loved your nascar story. We went to the Pocono race a couple weeks ago. Sat in the rain most of the time though :( But it was exciting seeing it live rather than on tv.
Your embarrassing moments was cute too. And I loved the "overheard" Quintin trying to tell himself something when Elle was talking. So cute!

I have heard the book is a wonderful one but have not read it.
I already voted for our favorites...hope they win.
I'm not posting to throw my name in the hat on this one because I am on my third copy of this book... it stays in my car and I honestly think I read from it every day. This is such a wonderful gift to be giving... it's been such an inspiration in my life.
