Qualifications for Wife of the Year

  1. Agree to a "can we really pull this off?" suggestion made by hubby's best friend's wife.
  2. Purchase tickets in October for final season game of hubby's (and best friend's) favorite football team, at home, in their brand new stadium.
  3. Book hotel and airfare for hubby and friend to get to game.
  4. Make sure hubby's schedule is clear for the day.
  5. Occasionally make comments about hubby's favorite team and look interested during games, all the while barely containing the rage of excitement going through body at the secret you are keeping.
  6. Wrap game ticket and present to hubby at Christmas.
  7. Assure hubby that ticket is not for a previous game in a stadium very close to home.  Convince him that he is flying and will see the game in 1 1/2 weeks, with best friend.
  8. Arrange with NFL that this final season game will determine the champions of the NFC East division.
  9. Contact favorite team to make sure they know how much is on the line and that hubby will be in attendance so they had better win - by a huge margin.  And a shutout would be the icing on the cake.
  10. Smile from ear to ear when hubby calls home, minutes after the game has ended - where favorite team has won 24-0, clinching the NFC East title, in their inagural season of a brand new, state of the art stadium - and shouts, "I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!"
Nah, that's pretty tricky to pull off.  I know my hubby loves me just as I am.

But it is a pretty rockin' Christmas gift to have given him all of the above!!!

WAY TO GO COWBOYS!  GOOD LUCK NEXT WEEK!!!

Now, what can you pull off for Dave to do to surprise his wife for her birthday? You seem to be good at this stuff. I'm all about having the husband of the year, LOL

Great way to bless T Leigh Ann! I'm so glad it all came together for both of you!
