They had a great trip despite the realization, Sunday night, that their Monday morning flight was cancelled and the airline bumped them onto a flight to come home Tuesday morning.
Um, not going to work.
After some negotiating (yes, folks, it got ugly) with the airline, they found a flight home going through Georgia rather than Ohio, and got them home only 4 hours later than their original flight. The Cowboys huge win over the Eagles was enough to not let it get them down for too long.
And finally, I'd like to add for all those wondering, no, my husband will not be making a return flight this weekend for the Cowboys vs Eagles game. Now, if it were in Philly ...
