I had to take Quintin to the doctor the other day. Before we left, he told Elle that he was "...going to see either Dr. Office or Dr. ...(long pause)... Suess."

When asked what she wanted for a bedtime snack, Elle answered, "I'm thinking....I want something that starts with a U." (Hmmm, wonder what that could be!?!?)

Heard during Quintin's bedtime prayers: "And please keep Daddy safe at work and that he doesn't get squished by any big trucks."

Dr Seuss! He's everywhere! Very cute. And the truck squishing thing - oh my goodness, too funny that she said that.
My 3 year old freaks out when we have to go to the Dr's office...perhaps if I tell her we are going to see Dr. Seuss that will help. :-)

and elle just cracks me up. what other kid figures their snack out by what letter it starts with?
"U" snack ideas:
1) Umbrella shaped cookies (maybe you can take a bite out of one first and show Elle how it's shaped like a "U" now.)
2) Unicorn shaped cheese (just get a horse-shaped cookie cutter and then stick a little sliver of carrot on the head for the horn)
3) Have you tried a G*oogle search?
