Strawberry Pickin' Time!
1 hour in the very early morning, with the cutest strawberry pickers, yielded 12 quarts of berries.

You did good! I am ready for some fresh strawberries myself, but they aren't quite ready.
You're supposed to make milkshakes and pies with that stuff! ;-D
Makes me miss my grandma's homemade jam.
LA: Do you make jelly or just mash 'em for smoothies, etc. Just curious what your house tradition is!

HJ - We made all 12 qt into jelly. If I was going out of town, I'd probably pick a few more qt to mash and freeze for ice cream and smoothies. My family LOVES the jelly. I call them jelly snobs. ;-D
